Assistant Vice President Finance

The role will be a part of the Piramal Real Estate financing (wholesale finance) team, helping manage the wholesale finance operations team. The real estate financing group specializes in providing equity/ mezzanine financing solutions/ construction finance to Indian real estate developers.

Role Overview:

Responsible for end-to-end client accounting and loan operations, including deal setup, accounting validation, TDS management, regulatory reporting, MIS, and process improvements. The role ensures accuracy, compliance, and timely execution while coordinating with internal teams, auditors, regulators, and clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify deal terms (agreement amount, tenure, interest rate, repayment schedules, fees, taxes) in the Loan Management System.
• Oversee appropriations, accounting entries, and validation of commercial terms to prevent revenue leakages.
• Manage TDS compliance: recording, reconciliation with Form 26AS, collection/issuance of TDS certificates.
• Act as client interface for balance confirmations, reconciliations, and account closures with No Dues Certificates.
• Coordinate with operations, auditors, investment teams, and regulators for smooth processes and compliance.
• Handle regulatory reporting (CRILC, NeSL, CIC) and provide data for audits and rating agencies.
• Publish MIS and early warning reports on receivables; track and escalate delays.
• Drive process improvement through automation initiatives, system enhancements, and UAT support.

Qualifications & Skills:

• CA with 7 to 9 yrs. of work experience in client accounting operations
• Experience in Operation functions with Private Sector Banks / NBFCs would be preferred
• Strong knowledge of client accounting, TDS, and regulatory reporting.
• Experience in loan management systems and financial operations.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail and process accuracy.
• Stakeholder management and audit coordination experience.
• Proficiency in MIS/reporting and automation tools preferred.
