Assistant Vice President Finance Location - Gurgaon Qualification - CA, Intern Background Cars Alley Pvt Ltd. (“Company”) launched its operations in August 2023 and the company is currently focussing on ‘End-of-Life” vehicles and has embarked upon an ambitious growth and expansion strategy. Role · The Incumbent will be hired in the Finance & Accounts function of the company and will grow with the company embarked upon an ambitious growth plan. · The person will be responsible for establishing the Finance and Accounts function from scratch · The person will report and assist the Chairman and founder CEO in day-to-day operations, directly through a team recruited by the incumbent or through third parties as and when decided in consultation with the CEO. · An Independent person and a team worker who can carry the team along and work with internal and external parties. · Can establish a professional culture and can work in an environment of a vibrant, new-age company Qualification & Experience · Chartered Accountant with minimum 5 years experience · Experience in finance and accounting function of a mid-sized company · Financial Modelling, accounting, and commercial acumen Shareholders Interest · To work in the best interest of shareholders to enhance the value of the business, such that their interests are considered supreme above any other interests · Represent the shareholders’ interests to any investors, financial institutions, banks, or a company outside to raise funds and strengthen the business of the company as and when decided by the Company · Maintain complete confidentiality in terms of the company’s business Responsibilities · Financial Planning, Reporting, and Modelling duly incorporating the actuals · Preparing financial budget estimating the Capital requirements of the business as per the growth and expansion plans · Should be able to forecast and build financial projections · Well verse to get to the unit costing and profitability and variance analysis · Establishing the accounting function internally or deciding to supervise it internally or by outsourcing the same · Taxation and Audit as well as coordination with the Auditors and other consultants · Should be able to carry out the stock audit, Accounting & Finalization of Annual Accounts. Proficiency in covering all aspects from financial planning to financial management and skilled in financial reporting.
