Job Description – Assistant Training Manager

Position Title: Assistant Training Manager – Housekeeping

Department: Hospital Housekeeping Services

Reporting To: Training Manager / Facility Manager / Operations Head

Location: North region Healthcare Facility (Willing to travel)

Role Purpose:

The Assistant Training Manager – Housekeeping is responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering training programs for housekeeping staff/Supervisors/Executives/CTS staff in a hospital environment. The role ensures compliance with hospital infection control standards, housekeeping standards, SOPs, safety protocols, and service quality requirements through structured training and continuous skill development.

Key Responsibilities:

Training & Development:

  • Plan and conduct induction, orientation, refresher, and OJT training programs.
  • Deliver classroom and practical training sessions.
  • Conduct training on Infection Control, BMW Management, Spill Management, PPE usage, and patient etiquette.
  • Involving in new project transition
  • Ensure housekeeping standards are sustained at all units.
  • Processes related to hospital housekeeping operations.

SOP & Compliance:

  • Ensure staff training as per hospital SOPs and NABH/JCI/NABL/ISO standards.
  • Support SOP implementation and audit preparedness.

Training Records & Documentation:

  • Maintain training attendance, assessments, and reports.
  • Track competency evaluations.
  • Maintain Skill matrix and training tracker for individual units.

Coordination & Supervision:

  • Coordinate with Operations, HR, Nursing, Quality management and Infection Control teams.
  • Support supervisors in identifying training needs.

Quality Improvement:

  • Evaluate training effectiveness.
  • Support new process and equipment rollouts through training.

Desired Candidate Profile:

Education:

  • Graduate/PG in any discipline.
  • Certification in Hospital Housekeeping or Training preferred.

Experience:

  • 5–8 years in hospital housekeeping.
  • Min 2–3 years in training or Executive role.

Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of hospital housekeeping and infection control.
  • Good communication and presentation skills. Espicially Hindi & Bengali
  • Documentation and computer skills.
  • Must have sound knowledge of systems

Working Conditions:

  • Hospital environment with shift flexibility.
  • Willing to travel across other parts of the northern region

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
