Assistant Sourcing Manager

As a Raw Material Sourcing Manager at Nat Habit, you will play a crucial role in leading the procurement of high-quality ingredients for skincare and beauty products. Your responsibilities will include assessing raw material requirements, identifying potential suppliers, managing import opportunities, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and fostering innovation within the R&D and production teams. Key Responsibilities: - Assess and enquire about raw material requirements for skincare and beauty product formulations to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement. - Identify, evaluate, and connect with potential domestic and international manufacturers and suppliers for key ingredients and raw materials. - Explore import opportunities to source high-quality materials from global markets. - Utilize technical knowledge of skincare and beauty ingredients to assess supplier capabilities, validate product quality, and ensure compliance with industry standards. - Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiate terms, and monitor performance to ensure quality and delivery adherence. - Lead initiatives to enhance quality, reduce costs, and develop alternate sourcing channels for materials, driving continuous improvement and innovation. - Ensure all materials meet regulatory, safety, and compliance standards, managing related documentation and certifications. - Collaborate with R&D, Quality, Production, and Finance teams to align sourcing strategies with business needs. Key Qualifications & Skills: - Bachelor's degree in Engineering from a Tier 1 or Tier 2 institute. - Proven experience in raw material sourcing, preferably in FMCG/skincare/cosmetics or related sectors. - Strong understanding of raw material chemistry and specialty ingredients in skincare and beauty formulations. - Demonstrated ability in process adherence, documentation, and quality improvement projects. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across functions and external partners. - Highly organized with the capability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously. - Adaptability and ownership to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving startup environment.,
