Job Description

Role & responsibilities

What You'll Do-

  • Design competent sourcing strategies for the organization to increase the efficiency and

effectiveness of the function.

  • Define the guidelines for supplier / Vendor selection and ensure the quality guidelines defined

by Centum are adhered to.

  • Develop and maintain a high-performance culture focused on continuous improvement and

business excellence

  • Focus on the Total Cost Ownership (TCO) incorporating customer needs, Organizational goals

and market conditions.

  • Continuously identify means to reduce cost and pro-actively take initiative towards cost

reduction.

  • Drive cost savings through effective negations with materials and logistics service providers
  • Ensure compliance to ethics and values as defined by Centum and adherence to all statutory

requirements.

  • Drive sourcing and commodity Strategy formulation and Implementation.
  • Review sourcing performance against the defined plan and take actions to ensure adherence

to plan (KPI and strategic initiatives)

  • Work closely with sales / operations /quote team to support customer bids.
  • Identify risk in supplier base including single source, obsolescence (SPQ/ MOQ) Lead time and

risk mitigation measures.

  • Develop and maintain a progressive working relationship with Key stake holders. Both internal

and external (Supplier, vendor, customer) to Centum.

  • Interact with key stake holders ie supplier vendor’s customers on regular basis to gauge their

requirement and define ways to exceed their expectation.

  • Act as mentor to direct reports and develop the second line management.
  • Define performance standards and goals for employees and review their performance

periodically

Who You Are?

  • Minimum of 09 to 12 years of experience in sourcing of electronics components like active,

passive and electro-mechanical from any manufacturing industry, preferably in EMS

  • Should have hands on experience in working on ERP systems
  • Should have knowledge of Microsoft office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

Qualification: BE/B. Tech (Any specialisation)
