Job Title: Assistant Restaurant Manager

Location: Dwarka, New Delhi

Industry: Hotel/ Restaurant Experience

Job Summary:

The Assistant Restaurant Manager supports the Restaurant Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring excellent guest experiences, maintaining high food and service standards, and leading the team effectively. This role bridges management and staff, focusing on operational efficiency, guest satisfaction, and employee performance.

Key Responsibilities:Operational Management:

  • Supervise daily restaurant operations to ensure smooth service and efficiency.
  • Monitor dining areas to ensure cleanliness, ambiance, and service quality meet standards.
  • Ensure adherence to health, safety, hygiene, and sanitation regulations.

Guest Service:

  • Handle guest complaints and feedback professionally to ensure satisfaction.
  • Assist in developing strategies to enhance customer experience and retention.
  • Maintain high service quality, upselling techniques, and guest engagement.

Staff Supervision & Training:

  • Assist in recruitment, training, and mentoring of restaurant staff (waiters, hostesses, runners, etc.).
  • Conduct daily pre-shift briefings and team meetings.
  • Monitor staff performance and provide feedback for improvement.

Inventory & Cost Control:

  • Help manage inventory of food, beverages, and supplies.
  • Assist in controlling operational costs while maintaining quality.
  • Coordinate with kitchen and procurement teams for timely stock management.

Administrative Tasks:

  • Support in scheduling staff rosters and shift planning.
  • Prepare and maintain reports related to sales, expenses, and customer feedback.
  • Ensure POS and billing systems are correctly utilized by the team.

Coordination with Other Departments:

  • Collaborate with front office, kitchen, banquet, and housekeeping departments to ensure seamless service during events and daily operations.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Hotel Management
  • with at least 1 year in a supervisory/assistant managerial role.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Knowledge of restaurant software/POS systems.
  • Flexible to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Work Environment:

  • Fast-paced hotel and restaurant setting.
  • Long standing hours may be required.
  • Interaction with guests, kitchen staff, and service teams daily.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Delhi, Delhi: Reliably commute or willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (Preferred)

Education:

  • Bachelor's (Preferred)

Experience:

  • Restaurant management: 3 years (Preferred)
