Job Description: Project Coordinator – GUWAHATI -NORTHEAST REGION


We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project coordination and management, with a focus on majority projects within the Northeast region. The Project Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring smooth day-to-day project activities, including site visits, project meetings, and shop drawing approvals. This is a key role that requires excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:


  1. Coordinate and oversee project activities, ensuring adherence to project timelines and specifications.
  2. Conduct regular site visits to monitor project progress, resolve issues, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
  3. Attend project meetings with clients to discuss project requirements, updates, and issue resolutions.
  4. Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to review and approve shop drawings, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project specifications.
  5. Prepare and maintain project documentation, including project plans, progress reports, change orders, and other relevant records.
  6. Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of project materials and equipment.
  7. Conduct project evaluations and assessments to identify areas for improvement and lessons learned.
  8. Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to project management and construction.

Requirements:

  1. Minimum 5-7 years of experience in project coordination or management, preferably in the construction industry.
  2. Strong knowledge of construction processes, project management methodologies, and relevant regulations.
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
  4. Proven ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and successful project completion.
  5. Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating strong leadership and collaboration skills.
  7. Proficiency in using ERP software.
  8. Flexibility to travel to project sites within Northeast Region as required.
  9. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.
  10. Salary will be offered as per market standards.
