Job Title: Site Engineer – Door Installation Industry: Fire Rated Door Installation / Door Hardware Installation Location: Hyderabad Region and Chennai Region Job Type: Full-Time Job Summary: We are looking for a dedicated Site Engineer to oversee and manage door installation projects at various sites across India. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in construction or interior projects, particularly with the installation of wooden, steel, or fire-rated doors. You will coordinate with project managers, clients, installation teams, and vendors to ensure timely and quality execution. Key Responsibilities: Supervise and manage daily site activities related to door installation (wooden, steel, fire-rated, acoustic, etc.) Interpret architectural and structural drawings, and ensure proper installation as per design. Coordinate with clients, contractors, and subcontractors for smooth project execution. Conduct site surveys, measure door openings, and verify site readiness. Ensure installation complies with safety, quality, and manufacturer standards. Monitor material availability and ensure timely delivery to sites. Prepare daily/weekly progress reports and communicate updates to project managers. Troubleshoot on-site issues and provide technical solutions in real-time. Ensure adherence to all local construction regulations and company policies. Requirements: Education: Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field. Experience: 2–5 years of experience in door/hardware installation, construction, or fit-out projects. Technical Skills: Knowledge of installation tools, hardware fitting, and reading construction drawings. Soft Skills: Strong communication, site management, and problem-solving abilities. IT Skills: Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD (basic), and project reporting tools. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with fire-rated or acoustic doors installations. Knowledge of door hardware specifications (hinges, locks, closers, etc.). Working Conditions: Frequent travel to different project sites across India.
