Assistant Professor – Management & Commerce (As per UGC Norms)

to teach, mentor and guide Management and Commerce students.

Eligibility (As per UGC Regulations):

• Master’s Degree in relevant discipline with minimum 55%, Ph.D. holders are preferred

• UGC-NET / CSIR-NET / SET qualification OR Ph.D. as per UGC norms

• Research publications (UGC CARE / Scopus)

• Relevant industry or academic certifications (desirable)


Key Responsibilities:


Teaching & Learning

• Deliver lectures, tutorials, workshops for UG/PG

• Prepare lesson plans, case studies, teaching materials

• Use ICT tools, LMS & outcome-based teaching methodology

• Conduct seminars, experiential learning sessions


Curriculum Development

• Develop and update syllabus as per OBE framework

• Design COs aligned with POs & PSOs

• Participate in BOS, curriculum review and academic planning


Research & Publications

• Publish in UGC CARE / Scopus / ABDC journals

• Guide research projects & internships

• Present papers in conferences

• Apply for research grants & consultancy


Examination & Evaluation

• Conduct internal assessments, quizzes, viva

• Paper setting, evaluation & moderation

• Maintain transparency and timelines


Student Mentoring

• Provide academic counselling & career guidance

• Support projects, internships & placements


Institutional Support

• Participate in NAAC/NBA/IQAC/NIRF documentation

• Take part in committees, events, and administrative duties

• Assist in admissions, outreach, extension activities


Industry Interaction

• Build linkages with industry & alumni

• Organize industrial visits, expert talks, workshops

• Participate in FDPs, MDPs & continuous development


Skills Required:

• Strong subject knowledge

• Excellent communication & research skills

• Familiarity with digital teaching tools

• Teamwork, ethics & professionalism


Workload (As per UGC):

Minimum 16 hours – 20 hours teaching per week + research & administrative duties
