Assistant Payroll Manager

As a professional in this role, your primary responsibility will be to handle client management and compliance, ensuring timely submissions and proactive advisory services. You will also play a crucial role in process improvement and reporting to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Key Responsibilities: - Handle client onboarding, transitions, and queries in a professional manner. - Build strong client relationships through proactive communication and consistent service quality. - Oversee statutory and labour compliance filings such as PF, ESI, PT, LWF, Income Tax TDS, etc., ensuring timely submissions. - Advise clients on statutory updates and ensure proactive compliance. - Review and sign off on monthly, quarterly, and annual statutory returns. - Support the accounting team by providing necessary documentation and clarifications. - Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Qualifications Required: - Strong understanding of Indian labour laws, PF, ESI, PT, Income Tax TDS on salaries, and other statutory requirements. - Prior experience in client-facing roles is essential.
