Assistant Merchant

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Merchant and Export teams in managing B2B client orders, quotations, and product assortments.
• Coordinate with production, logistics, and quality teams to ensure timely fulfillment of export shipments.
• Assist in vendor sourcing, cost negotiations, and product pricing for bulk export orders.
• Maintain and update product catalogues, line sheets, and export documentation.
• Track and analyze sales performance, customer feedback, and market trends to support strategic decisions.
• Liaise with international clients for order updates, customization requirements, and sample approvals.
• Prepare reports, presentations, and trade materials for client meetings and international exhibitions.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, International Trade, or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in

  merchandising, export operations, or B2B sales

  (preferably in the furniture or home décor industry).
• Strong understanding of export documentation, logistics coordination, and client servicing.
• Proficient in MS Excel, Google Sheets, and ERP/CRM systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English fluency required).
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Detail-oriented with a strong sense of accountability and follow-through.
