Assistant Merchant

As an Assistant Merchant at Ragnik Exports Pvt. Ltd., you will play a crucial role in supporting the merchandising team to drive product strategies and sales performance. Your responsibilities will include: - Assisting in the development and execution of seasonal merchandising strategies and product assortments. - Analyzing sales data, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights to optimize product performance. - Monitoring inventory levels and coordinating with planning and logistics for timely product availability. - Conducting competitive analysis to stay updated on market trends, pricing strategies, and product positioning. - Collaborating with design and production teams to manage the product development calendar and ensure timely execution. - Preparing line sheets, assortment plans, and other merchandising tools for internal and external stakeholders. - Supporting promotional planning and pricing strategies in collaboration with marketing and e-commerce teams. - Attending line reviews, vendor meetings, and market appointments to support merchandise planning and vendor negotiations. - Maintaining and updating product information across systems with accuracy and consistency. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Merchandising, Business, Fashion, or related field. - 3+ years of experience in merchandising, buying, or a similar role in retail or e-commerce. - Strong analytical and organizational skills with a keen eye for detail. - Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and retail management systems (e.g., PLM, ERP, or similar). - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work cross-functionally. - Passion for product, trend forecasting, and consumer behavior.
