Assistant Merchandiser

We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Assistant Merchandiser to join our dynamic team.

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Assistant Merchandiser to join our team. This role is a unique blend of merchandising support, inventory management, and quality control. The successful candidate will be the key point of contact for all packing and inventory operations, ensuring that every order is accurately prepared and meets our strict quality standards before shipment. This position will also play a critical role as a Quality Assurance & Inventory Management (QAIM) assistant.

Key Responsibilities:

Packing Operations:

• Oversee and manage the packing team and process to ensure all goods are packed securely and efficiently.
• Verify that products are correctly labeled with necessary information, including size, color, and buyer details.
• Ensure all packing lists and shipping documents are complete and accurate.

Quality Assurance (QAIM):

• Perform thorough quality checks on products before and during the packing process.
• Inspect items for defects, damages, and compliance with buyer specifications.
• Document and report any quality issues, working closely with the production team to resolve them promptly.

Vendor and Team Coordination:

• Communicate with vendors and internal teams (design, production) to track order completion and resolve any issues related to packing and inventory.
• Ensure a smooth flow of communication to guarantee that all orders are ready for on-time shipment.

Inventory Management:

• Maintain accurate inventory records of all finished goods in the warehouse.
• Conduct regular physical counts and reconcile stock with system data.
• Monitor stock levels and report any discrepancies or potential shortages to the Merchandiser.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in a similar role within a manufacturing or export environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Master’s degree/specialization preferred.
• Strong knowledge of inventory management and quality control processes.
• Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to work.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
