You are an Assistant Merchandiser / Project Manager for a small and growing production workshop and export house unit located in Gurgaon, specializing in high-end contemporary womens apparel. Your role involves supporting the Lead Merchandiser in ensuring quality and on-time deliveries. To excel in this position, you are required to have a minimum of four years of experience in the garment industry. You should possess a deep understanding of fabric and design, along with hands-on experience in product development, trim sheets, pattern coordination, color matching, sampling, merchandise files, and order sheets. As an Assistant Merchandiser, you play a crucial role within the team and have the opportunity to take on responsibilities and grow in the design industry. Communication is key, and you will regularly engage with the team in the United States through Zoom calls and Google Doc ledgers.
