Assistant Manager- Talent Acquisition

Role & responsibilities

• Develop short- and long-term hiring strategies in collaboration with plant managers and engineers. This includes forecasting talent gaps created by an aging workforce and identifying future skill needs, particularly as the industry shifts toward renewable energy.
• Proactively identify and engage high-potential candidates for future roles, rather than only recruiting for immediate openings. This involves building relationships with universities, vocational schools, and industry networks.
• Oversee the entire hiring process for both technical and non-technical staff. This can include:
• Writing precise, detailed job descriptions for highly specialized roles, such as power systems engineers, turbine mechanics, and grid integration experts.
• Sourcing candidates through specialized job boards, industry forums, and professional networking.
• Screening, interviewing, and assessing candidates to ensure a strong technical and cultural fit.
• Negotiating job offers, including salary and benefits.

Preferred candidate profile
