Role Summary

The Senior Executive - Business Development will drive growth for airpay Academy by building strategic partnerships, identifying business opportunities, and expanding the reach of Academy programs across sectors. The role focuses on positioning airpay Academy as a credible skilling and impact platform enabling financial inclusion, digital literacy, and entrepreneurial capability.

Key Responsibilities


1. Business Development & Partnerships

  • Identify and onboard new partners across government, semi government, PSU sector.
  • Pitching learning & assessment as a product to all HR Leader/ Decision makers of the organisation
  • Manage the entire BD cycle: prospecting, pitching, proposals, and closure.
  • Support revenue planning, pricing inputs.

2. Academy Offerings & GTM Execution

  • Collaborate with internal teams to design and refine Academy offerings aligned to partner and market needs.
  • Support go-to-market initiatives, campaigns, and program launches.
  • Track and report performance metrics - revenue, reach, impact, and partner satisfaction.

3. Program Implementation Support

  • Coordinate with L&D, Operations, and Product teams to ensure timely delivery of Academy programs.
  • Ensure quality standards and learner experience across engagements.
  • Customize solutions based on client needs.

4. Stakeholder Management

  • Liaise with external partners, internal leadership, and functional teams to ensure alignment and execution excellence.
  • Represent airpay Academy in client meetings, reviews, and ecosystem events.

5. Research & Market Intelligence

  • Track industry trends, regulatory updates, and competitor activity in the skilling and fintech learning space.
  • Generate insights for pipeline development and solution positioning.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 3-6 years of experience in business development, partnerships, or client management (preferably in education, skilling, fintech, or CSR domains).
  • Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office / Google Suite; comfort with data tracking and dashboards.
  • Bachelor s degree required; MBA / PG in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred.
