Assistant Manager - Security

Primarily responsible to Identify, develop and implement loss prevention program elements required to meet the security needs of the Organization. This position requires a proactive customer focused individual with an exceptional eye for detail and the ability to communicate and build relationships at all levels.

JOB ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Support Business in evaluating current and future business processes and initiatives relating to loss prevention in the Organization.
• Share inputs and risks with business and field teams for mitigation and resolution.
• Asset Protection – People, Facilities and Equipment’s.
• Operation of the Truck/Air Security Program with guidelines set by regulatory bodies.
• Develop processes and systems for product safety & security during storage and transportation and ensure compliance as per regulatory requirements applicable.
• Monitor and drive all investigations of all suspect transactions and activities that have or are likely to adversely impact business.
• Oversee training and professional development of field security teams.
• Determine strategy for highly sensitive and/or high-profile investigations.
• Develop and maintain relationships with Central, state, and local law enforcement agencies to support investigations.
• Investigation on theft, pilferage, damages, and exceptions /red-flagged transactions including fraud attempts.
• Ensure reporting of exceptions to Business on process violations as per agreed SLA. Audit of security compliance across operational centre, Hubs and OGP locations.
• Liaise and cooperate with law enforcement and industry bodies to support company’s interests.
• Liaise and cooperate with vendors, suppliers, and partners to effectively resolve exposures and mitigate risks.
• Conduct new hire orientation and training.
• Installation and maintenance of security equipment’s (CCTV, Access Controls, X-Ray etc.).
• Guard Management
• Ensuring security certifications (Example: TAPA) to meet Customer expectations.
• Emergency response and support BCP.

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS

• Indepth knowledge of Security systems including digital tools.
• Good interpersonal skills, including both verbal and written communication skills
• Good listening skills and the ability to anticipate business needs.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks at a time.

Educational Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent

Relevant Experience:

• Overall 5-6 years of relevant experience in similar capacity in logistics industry
