Assistant - Production Planning & Control (PPC)

About the Role:

Assistant - PPC

Key Responsibilities:Inventory Management & System Accuracy:
  • Perform daily

    physical verification

    of incoming invoices and materials, preparing the corresponding

    Goods Receipt Note (GRN)

    .
  • Address any discrepancies immediately by notifying the

    Purchase

    and

    Accounts

    departments.
  • Conduct

    random cross-checks

    of physical material stock against records for ongoing inventory accuracy.
  • Accurately execute

    material issue & receipt

    transactions in the

    ERP system

    , ensuring they align with physical material movements.
  • Update material location changes in the

    ERP system

    daily, maintaining accurate warehouse location records.
  • Maintain and update

    daily tracking sheets

    for critical stock items.
Internal Coordination & Follow-up:
  • Daily monitor and coordinate the timely availability of required

    in-house manufactured items

    and

    consumable items

    for the Assembly department.
  • Initiate and maintain

    daily follow-up with the Purchase

    department regarding the status of required procurement items.
  • Provide necessary documentation and processing for

    incoming materials

    to the relevant manufacturing departments.
  • Ensure daily follow-up and compliance for material receiving in the

    Cleanroom

    as per internal standard procedures.
  • Coordinate with the

    Assembly team drive

    daily, providing updates on material status.
  • Act as the point person for internal material requirements, facilitating coordination with the

    Sales Support Team, Stores, and related departments

    .
Warehouse Operations & Reporting:
  • Manage and delegate

    daily tasks to warehouse manpower

    .
  • Ensure

    Warehouse management

    strictly adheres to established

    SOPs

    (Standard Operating Procedures).
  • Regularly check and process all

    internal requirement emails

    and update relevant purchase orders promptly.
  • Report directly to the Head of PPC

    on daily inventory status, material availability, and outstanding follow-up items.
Qualifications:
  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Commerce, or a related technical field.
  • 3 – 4 Year of experience

    in a warehouse, inventory control, or production support role.
  • Strong working knowledge of

    ERP systems

    for inventory and material transactions.
  • Exceptional attention to detail

    and a strong commitment to data accuracy.
  • Excellent

    organizational and communication skills

    for effective internal coordination.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and maintain follow-up disciplines.
  • Knowledge of Material Planning and Lean manufacturing principles is a significant benefit.
