Role Description

Assistant Manager – Marketing & Communications

This is a high-ownership, fast-paced role ideal for someone passionate about social impact, public communication, and strategic storytelling.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute communication strategies for campaigns, events, and initiatives.
• Manage media relations, draft press releases, pitch stories, and coordinate with journalists.
• Lead social media content planning, posting schedules, and engagement across platforms.
• Create high-quality content including blogs, newsletters, speeches, reports, and briefs
• Collaborate with design and video teams for visual communication and campaign assets.
• Prepare communication decks, event content, and talking points for leadership.
• Monitor digital analytics and track performance across channels.
• Maintain brand voice, narrative consistency, and messaging accuracy.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years

  of experience in communications, PR, journalism, digital marketing, or related fields.
• Proven experience in media outreach or managing communication campaigns.
• Familiarity with social media strategy and content management tools.
• Basic proficiency in Canva/Figma or coordination with creative teams.
• Understanding of public communication, social campaigns, or advocacy (preferred).
