Job Description

Position Summary:

The Assistant Manager for Market Data Analysis will play a crucial role in supporting the Semiconductor Procurement team by providing insightful market data analysis. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of the semiconductor market, and the ability to transform data into actionable strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

Analyze market data to support semiconductor procurement strategies, including supply and demand trends, pricing, and technology advancements.
Conduct thorough market research to identify potential risks and opportunities in the semiconductor supply chain.
Develop and maintain market intelligence reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior management.
Collaborate with procurement and engineering teams to understand and anticipate semiconductor requirements.
Monitor geopolitical and economic factors that could impact semiconductor supply and pricing.
Assist in supplier selection and evaluation by providing data-driven insights.
Support contract negotiations by providing market data analysis and cost modeling.
Identify cost-saving opportunities and support value engineering projects.
Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness of procurement strategies.
Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in market data analysis, preferably within the semiconductor or electronics industry.
Strong analytical and quantitative skills with proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, Tableau, Power BI).
Knowledge of the semiconductor market, including supply chain dynamics, pricing trends, and key suppliers.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex data in a clear and concise manner.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently as needed.
