and contractual staffing across India. As a contractor, we deploy our contractual employees at client
locations (principal employers) across the country. With strong client relationships and consistent
monthly growth, we're expanding geographically while onboarding prestigious clients every month.
Role Purpose
Lead labor law compliance and HR operations for our contractual workforce deployed at multiple
client locations across India. As the contractor, ensure full statutory compliance, manage geographical
expansion, handle transition to new labour codes, and oversee large-scale payroll processing for
employees working at principal employer sites.
Key Responsibilities
Manage PAN India labor law compliances: Employees' Provident Fund (EPF), Employees' State
Insurance (ESI), Contract Labour (Regulation and Abolition) Act (CLRA), Prevention of Sexual
Harassment (POSH), Building and Other Construction Workers (BOCW), Labour Welfare Fund
(LWF), Professional Tax (PT), Minimum Wages, Payment of Wages Act, Equal Compensation Act,
and National & Festival Holidays Act
Obtain new ESI codes, Shops & Establishment registrations, Trade License, and Contract Labour
licenses for state expansion
Draft and submit applications for new, amendment, and renewal of registrations under S&E,
CLRA, Trade License, and Forms A & B under Payment of Gratuity Act
Amendment of registration certificates such as Professional Tax RC & EC, EPF RC, and ESIC RC
Manage National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme (NAPS) and National Apprenticeship
Training Scheme (NATS) portals
Lead implementation of new unified labour codes
File quarterly, half-yearly, and annual returns and remittances under applicable labour laws state
specifically
Coordinate with regional teams and government authorities for approvals and securing approved
copies
Manage branch closure process including surrendering registrations and filing Form C under
Payment of Gratuity Act
Ensure timely display of statutory notices and abstracts across all deployment locations
Maintain compliance trackers for timely compliance actions
Manage compliance activities for contractual staff deployed at various client plants, factories,
and locations across India
Coordinate with client operational staff and site managers for seamless workforce management
Conduct site inspections at client locations including plants, factories, and construction sites
Conduct initial health checks and display audits at client deployment locations
Ensure employees at client sites comply with all statutory requirements and client-specific
regulations
Vet and validate employee attendance and deployment data received from multiple client
locations
Verify employee documentation, identity proofs, and eligibility criteriaCoordinate with client operational staff and site managers across India for seamless data flow
and resolve discrepancies
Maintain regular communication with client HR teams and site supervisors for workforce updates
Conduct weekly compliance meetings with clients to provide updates on compliance activities
and progress
Manage relationships with multiple client accounts simultaneously
Prepare and process monthly payroll for contractual workforce deployed at client locations
(2000+ employees)
Calculate and manage various allowances including overtime, incentives, and special allowances
Ensure accurate statutory deductions (EPF, ESI, Professional Tax, Income Tax) and timely
remittances
Collect attendance data from client sites for payroll processing
Deposit all statutory challans including ESI, EPF, LWF, PT, and other applicable contributions
within state-specific due dates
Provide payroll inputs to backend team and ensure timely preparation of statutory registers
Handle payroll queries and discrepancies with clients and employees
Assist with queries related to PF, Pension, UAN, ESIC, and Worker Compensation Policy
Generate payroll reports and statements for client review and approval
Coordinate with finance team for salary disbursements and statutory payments
Process client invoices based on deployment and attendance data
Handle closure of notices issued by labour departments
Coordinate on inspection notices with internal teams, clients, and labour authorities
Interact with controlling authorities at labour department offices (Karmika Bhavana)
Close labour law notices by visiting labour offices
Manage inspections at offices and client deployment locations
Prepare and share daily reports on invoices, incomplete documentation, discrepancies, and
pending activities
Prepare Monthly Compliance Management Information System (MIS) and dashboards
Maintain statutory registers and ensure timely preparationPrepare presentations for management reviews
Ensure adherence to compliance timelines and regulatory due dates
Implement and manage StaffingGo software rollout
Drive automated compliance and payroll solutions
Handle joining/exit formalities for contractual employees
Conduct compliance audits at offices and client deployment locations
Maintain statutory registers and Notice Board compliances
Manage disciplinary actions and employee communications
Oversee employee records and payroll data
Handle social media escalations and employee grievances
Experience Requirements
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor's degree in Law, HR, or Commerce (Master's preferred)
PAN India operations experience with state expansion knowledge
Proven track record in obtaining new state registrations and ESI codes
Experience managing employees deployed at client locations (plants, factories, construction
sites)
Comprehensive knowledge of Indian Labor Laws and upcoming labour code transitions,
especially CLRA
Proficiency in EPF, ESI, CLRA, Shops & Establishment Act, Payment of Wages Act, Minimum
Wages Act, Payment of Gratuity Act, and other statutory compliances
Strong understanding of contractor obligations under various labour laws
Strong payroll processing skills with knowledge of allowances and deductions
Experience with StaffingGo or similar staffing platforms
Knowledge of NAPS, NATS, and government compliance portals
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, data analysis)
Experience with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, and OneDrive
Knowledge of PDF editing tools for document management
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Excellent communication and leadership capabilities
Attention to detail for data verification and payroll accuracy
Ability to manage multiple client accounts and deployment locations simultaneously
