Job Description

Major Responsibilities

Preparation of Welding Procedure Specification & carry out Procedure qualification and Welder’s/ Welding operator’s performance qualifications in accordance with ASME Sec IX, ASME Sec VIII Div. 1 & 2,
Procurement of Welding consumable as per customer specifications & KSB approved vendor list.
Ontime submission of WPS/PQR/WPQ & Weld plan as per project specification / requirements.
Make priority plan for repair weld of defective casting components.
Witness the various Destructive and Non-destructive testing as per code at NABL lab as well as in welding shop.
Maintain & Update calibration records of the measuring instruments / welding equipment’s periodically.
To handle Internal & External audits compliance to Quality management System of ISO 9001:2015, 14001:2015, 45001:2018.
Plan and manage internal / External audit mandates, including documentation of work performed, and management of costs and time for the mandates.
Interact with customers, suppliers and internal resources for welding related queries & document approvals.
To Maintain 1S, 2S in welding shop.
Knowledge of EMS / IMS / OHSAS & 5S.
