Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate end-to-end Import Operations, ensuring compliance with customs laws and EXIM policies.
Prepare, verify, and approve all Import Documentation invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, COO, and insurance.
Utilize G-Card privileges to represent the organization at customs for documentation, cargo examination, and clearance.
Coordinate with, Shipping Lines, Freight Forwarders, and Transporters for timely movement of goods.
Monitor shipment schedules, clearance timelines, and minimize detention or demurrage costs.
Validate HS Codes, Duty Structures, and Exemption Notifications for accurate assessment.
Maintain up-to-date Import Registers, MIS Reports, and License Utilization records.
Support in vendor coordination, freight negotiation, and cost optimization.
Ensure accurate and timely Payment of Customs Duty, Freight, and Insurance charges.
Supervise and guide the Import Documentation Team, ensuring adherence to process and timelines.

Desired Candidate Profile:

Valid G-Card Holder
(mandatory).
HSC / Graduate with 10 years of experience in
Import Operations or Freight Forwarding
.
Strong knowledge of
Customs procedures, EXIM policy, DGFT regulations, and import documentation
.
Proficiency in
MS Office and Outlook
.
Excellent
communication, coordination, and leadership
skills.
Exposure to
STP / SEZ / EOU / EHTP / BTP / MOOWR
units is an added advantage.
