Job Description

Job Summary:

The position requires to report to management and is responsible for the timely and accurate preparation of JE, reconciliation and perform MEC. This position will also be required to research and monitor financial data to ensure data integrity. Ask of the role can be, providing work direction and guidance to others in the team.

This is an Australian shift role.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Analyse all accounting information and prepare required Journals
  • Journal entries preparation & review, reconciliation and multiple analysis
  • Oversee the monthly / Quarterly close process to ensure financial statements are accurate and compliant with applicable accounting standards
  • Analyze all work papers to ensure accuracy and analyze all accounting documents
  • Ad hoc business reporting and analysis
  • Knowledge of Insurance F&A domain is must.
  • Ensure adherence to external and internal controls and ensure compliance.
  • Capture metrics in the process & analyze trends to take proactive measures
  • Building SOP & process map preparation skills within team to have strong documentation.
  • Respond to all queries associate with client requirements.
  • Journal entries preparation & review, Reconciliation and multiple analysis
  • Contribute Ideas and action towards the continues process improvement
  • MIS/ SLA knowledge
  • Understanding of current technologies in RTR domain and RPA
  • Ability to meet outlined and expected standards of timeliness and accuracy in completion of work, through prioritization of team tasks
  • Encourages & demonstrates respect for others in a team and inculcate the same culture across the team members
  • To create systems and checks for internal compliance policies and guidelines and ensures maintenance of clear and precise

records per the requirements.

  • Achieving key targets for the process in line with the SLA (Service level Agreement)/KPIs (Key Performance Indicators)
  • Should be able to communicate effectively with team and management and identify issues and concerns that may affect the performance of the job and communicate the leadership
  • Advance Excel, Power Point knowledge and working experience is mandatory
