Role Overview
We’re looking for a passionate and driven
Assistant Manager
to support our
Employer Engagement
and
Volunteer Engagement
strategies. In this dual role, you’ll help strengthen our relationships with corporate partners and nurture a growing community of volunteers who contribute to our mission.You’ll play a key role in creating opportunities for youth employment, internships, mentoring, and volunteering — ensuring that our partnerships lead to real, measurable impact.
Key Responsibilities
Employer Engagement
- Support the development and implementation of strategies to engage employers for job placements, internships, apprenticeships, and exposure visits.
- Assist in building and managing partnerships with corporate organisations, CSR leaders, and industry bodies.
- Coordinate with internal teams to design and deliver employer engagement initiatives aligned with youth development outcomes.
- Track and document partnership progress, ensuring effective communication and follow-ups.
- Stay informed about industry trends and emerging skills to align employer strategies with the future of work.
Volunteer Engagement
- Support the recruitment, onboarding, and engagement of volunteers across programs.
- Coordinate skill-based volunteering and mentoring opportunities in partnership with corporate and community volunteers.
- Manage communication and logistics for volunteer activities, ensuring smooth execution and meaningful experiences.
- Monitor volunteer feedback, satisfaction, and impact to strengthen retention and engagement.
- Use digital tools and platforms to enhance volunteer outreach and engagement.
What We’re Looking For
- 4–6 years of experience in partnership management, CSR coordination, HR, or volunteer engagement, preferably in the social impact, education, or youth development sector.
- Strong networking and relationship-building skills with a collaborative mindset.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, facilitation, and presentation abilities.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- A genuine passion for working with youth and advancing equity and opportunity.
Nice to Have
- Experience supporting CSR partnerships or employee engagement initiatives.
- Familiarity with volunteer platforms or HR tech tools.
- Exposure to youth employability or community programs.
