As part of CACO community you will be placed under Finance Close & consolidation vertical, the team provides accounting support to various AXA XL legal entities based out of Americas, UK, and APAC & Europe. The key activities of the team involve analysis of Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss including ratio analysis, preparation of balance sheet reconciliations along with commentaries, booking of various technical manual adjustments to incorporate entity level changes in GL, preparation of ceding treaty accruals, reconciliations, etc.

What You’ll Be DOING

What will your essential responsibilities include?
  • Manage the BAU deliverables related to accounting/reporting of group treaties (Gross, Net Property QS, Internal group treaties - IGR, others).
  • Booking of manual adjustment to incorporate legal entity, operating units, and other chart field level restructuring / changes in General Ledger.
  • Collaboration within/outside the team (including the BU Controllers/Business Partners) for the timely cleanup of the open reconciling items.
  • Posting of the manual journal entries in the EBS/HFM as and when needed.
  • Preparing analysis/reports and reconciliations on various ad-hoc requests as and when requested.
  • Assist the stakeholders with quarter end close activities, manage and work on ad-hoc requests.
  • Assist in managing requests from both internal and external auditors and internal financial controls team to provide requested documentation, general ledger balances, other ad-hoc requests from auditors.
  • Other responsibilities may be added.
You will report to Senior Manager, Chief Accounting and Capital Office.

What You Will BRING

Required Skills And Abilities

  • CA with relevant years of post-qualification experience in accounting and financial reporting.
  • Outstanding communication & interpersonal skills to work effectively with internal/external teams across the globe.
  • Effective computer application skills (Microsoft office, Oracle EBS, SQL, Power BI, Qlikview). Must have an aptitude and interest in the financial system environment.

Desired Skills And Abilities

  • Experience with Oracle EBS, Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) and Magnitude would be advantageous.
  • Robust analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Organized, methodical, able to deal effectively with multiple priorities and do multitasking.
