Job Description

Purpose/Objective


    Team member - Business Development oversees the entire business development function, identifying emerging markets, driving sales, and implementing marketing strategies. Manages high-level client relationships, strategic planning, and risk assessment. Ensures seamless project handovers, brand positioning, and leads a culture of excellence and innovation.

Key Responsibilities of Role


    Proposal Development: - Formulate proposal strategies, incorporating interactive business case models in Excel. Draft detailed proposals and NFAs, ensuring cross-functional input for comprehensive risk and cost assessments. Opportunity Identification: - Research the market to find potential clients and trends in logistics. Assess competitors to spot opportunities for standing out. Business Case Modelling: - Create dynamic Excel models for evaluating tenders and revenue projects. Client Relationship Management: - Cultivates relationships with client stakeholders, spearheads contract negotiations, and ensures alignment with commercial objectives. Sales Strategy and Execution: - Create sales plans in line with company goals and track the sales process to close deals effectively. Marketing Initiatives: - Help create marketing content and lead generation campaigns in collaboration with marketing teams. Project Management: - Evaluates projects meticulously for viability, sustainability, and financial value, creating a robust foundation for strategic planning. Risk Management: - Prepares detailed project reports with comprehensive risk assessments, benefiting stakeholders. Digital Mindset: - Keep up with digital and AI advancements to enhance business and maintain competitiveness. Key Stakeholders - Internal: Lead - Business Development Other Departments - SPOCs Key Stakeholders - External: Client SPOCs

Qualifications and Experience


    Education Qualification: BE/Btech , MBA (preffereable) Work Experience (Range of years): 2 - 5 years of relevant experience with min. 3 yrs experience in Logistics industry Preferred Industry: Logistics industry
