Job Purpose –

To drive business growth by identifying new opportunities, developing strategic customer relationships, and converting leads into long-term partnerships, while ensuring alignment of proposals and execution with customer needs.

Key Responsibilities –

1.  Balanced involvement with a 50-50 focus on both commercial strategy and technical expertise

2.  Responsible for achieving and surpassing predetermined sales targets. This involves developing and implementing effective sales strategies, identifying new business opportunities, and maintaining a proactive approach, should be able to take quick, on-the-spot decisions to close orders Existing/ New customer enquiry receipt.

3.  Evaluation of enquiry from feasibility standpoint

4.  Ensure that quote is prepared with detailing and as per customer requirement 

5.  Monitor and evaluate that quoted other/ third party services are aligned to customer requirement technically and commercially with respect to competition.

6.  Interpret client's technical specifications accurately and propose technical/commercial alternatives that enables the lowest compliant bid while providing the highest value to the customer.

7.  Monitor and ensure that proposals pricing is in line with the company's agreed strategy on sales & marketing and should receive within the required time.

8.  Customer Retention - Must build strong, lasting relationships with existing customers through regular communication, addressing concerns promptly, and providing value-added services.

Ensure any technical/commercial or contractual risks to the company are identified and mitigated.

9.  Big Customers - Identify big potential customers, understand their unique requirements, and tailor sales approaches to meet their specific needs.

10.New Customers: This involves proactive lead generation and conversion efforts, explore untapped markets, leverage networking opportunities, and utilizing ndata-driven approaches to identify and onboard new customers. Ability to project potential customers.

11. Payment: Collaborate closely with the execution team to monitor customer payment schedules, address payment-related issues promptly, and implement effective credit control measures. Clear communication regarding payment terms and expectations is crucial for successful financial transactions.

12.Customer Visits: This includes preparing and executing a well-organized visit plan, focusing on key accounts and potential growth areas.

Inter Departmental hand hold –

1.  Handover and hand hold between Engineering team with purchase & execution team to achieve customer requirements

2.  Handover required data like payment term, delivery schedule and any other which is committed to customer during order finalisation.

3.  Ensure that required sales cycle is achieved

4.  If required discuss with customer and resolve execution team issues to successful completion of order.
