Assistant Manager - Accounts

IIMK LIVE is an independent society set up by IIM Kozhikode, a premier management institute with the support of Department of Science and Technology and acts as a center for business incubation and entrepreneurship development at IIM Kozhikode. IIMK LIVE seeks to establish Business Incubator with a purpose of creating a National Centre of Excellence that promotes innovation, new business venturing and entrepreneurship.

IIMK LIVE is looking for highly dynamic, self-driven individual who is passionate in Finance and to support the overall financial managemet and operations of the center. The selected candidate would report to the Senior General Manager of IIMK LIVE.

Eligibility:

A candidate for Assistant Manger- Accounts candidate with Chartered Accountant Qualification / Post Graduation/Graduation in Commerce/Finance with good knowledge in MS Office and Accounting Softwares and a minimum of 3 Years of experience in finance/accounts shall be preferred. 

Job Description

• Keeping detailed records of financial transactions, including income, expenses, and payments. 
• Verifying and processing invoices for both accounts payable and accounts receivable. 
• Balancing and reconciling accounts, such as bank statements and general ledger accounts. 
• Creating reports like income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. 
• Supporting internal and external auditors with providing documentation and explanations. 
• Assisting in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts. 
• Identifying and resolving any issues or discrepancies in financial records. 
• Ensuring that financial practices comply with relevant regulations and accounting standards. 
• Communicating with other departments and external parties regarding financial matters.

Compensation:

Consolidated, All Inclusive Monthly Remuneration maximum of Rs.45000/- depending upon the suitability.
