Senior Accountant / Accounts Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage

  full-cycle accounting

  using

  Tally ERP

• Oversee

  day-to-day financial transactions

  , including:
• Journal entries
• Sales, purchases, receipts, and payments
• Bank reconciliations and ledger maintenance
• Prepare and file:

• GST returns

  (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, annual returns)

• Service Tax

  (legacy matters, if applicable)

• Income Tax returns

  , TDS returns, and advance tax payments
• Finalize

  Profit & Loss Accounts

  ,

  Balance Sheets

  , and

  Cash Flow Statements

• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and liaise with auditors and government authorities
• Manage

  statutory audits, internal audits

  , and tax assessments
• Maintain accurate records and support

  MIS reporting

• Use

  MS Excel

  for complex financial models, reports, pivot tables, and reconciliations
• Monitor accounts receivable/payable, aging reports, and ensure timely follow-ups
• Keep up-to-date with

  tax laws

  compliance updates

  ERP enhancements

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum

  10+ years of experience

  in accounting and finance
• Proficiency in

  Tally ERP 9 / Tally Prime

• Strong working knowledge of:

• GST

  ,

  Service Tax

  ,

  Income Tax

  ,

  TDS

  , and

  PF/ESIC

• Advanced skills in

  Microsoft Excel

  (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, Data Validation, etc.)
• Excellent understanding of Indian accounting standards and taxation rules
• Degree in

  Commerce / Accounting / Finance

  (Master’s or CA Inter preferred)
• Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
