Assistant Manager - Accounts

• Accounting (Both payable and receivable): The assistant manager manages the accounts payable and receivable. They process invoices, issue payments, and track outstanding balances.
• Payroll: The assistant manager is responsible for processing payroll for all employees. This includes calculating wages, taxes, and other deductions, and ensuring that payments are made on time.
• Compliance: The assistant manager ensures that there is compliance with all relevant financial regulations and laws. This includes monitoring changes to regulations and adjusting financial practices accordingly.
• Audit preparation: The assistant manager prepares for audits by ensuring that all financial records and reports are up-to-date and accurate.
• Budgeting: The assistant manager is responsible for developing and managing the budget. They work closely with the COO and Manager - Accounts to create a budget that meets the institution's needs.
• Financial Analysis/ reporting: The assistant manager does financial analysis and prepares financial reports and statements that provide a clear picture of the financial health. They also ensure that all financial reporting is accurate, timely, and compliant with relevant laws and regulations.
• Overall, the assistant manager plays a critical role in ensuring that the financial operations run smoothly and effectively. They must have a strong understanding of financial management principles and practices, as well as excellent organizational and analytical skills.
• They should also have strong communication skills, as they will work closely with Institution's Management, administrators, faculty, and staff on financial matters

Requisites

• Accounts Degree.
• Proficient in Tally, Microsoft Word, Excel and Microsoft Office Tools.
• Knowledge of Indian Statutory laws, as applicable to the Institution
• Minimum 5+ years of experience as an Accountant; preferably at Schools or Audit firms
