Assistant It Manager

We are looking for an Assistant Manager - IT for our client place based at Sonipat, Haryana. As an Assistant Manager Information System, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operation and management of IT systems within the organisation. You will support system improvements, ensure the integrity of data, manage upgrades, and collaborate with various teams to solve technical problems.

Roles & Responsibilities:-

• Oversee the maintenance and operation of IT systems.
• Oversee the installation, configuration, maintenance and support of IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and applications.
• Support system upgrades and enhancements.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest SAP technologies and best practices.
• Optimize and enhance existing SAP applications.
• Assist in the planning and execution of SAP upgrades and migrations.
• Work closely with functional teams to understand their requirements.
• Ensure systems are running efficiently and effectively.
• Monitor and analyse system performance, identifying and addressing any potential issues proactively.
• Provide technical support and guidance to other team members.
• Ensure data integrity and security across all platforms.
• Collaborate with different departments to address and solve system-related issues.
• Manage and mentor junior IT staff.
• Implement and uphold IT policies and procedures.
• Monitor system performance and generate reports for senior management.

Skills & Others Qualifications:-

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Experience with performance tuning and optimisation of SAP programs
• 5+ years of experience in IT management or similar role.
• Strong understanding of information systems and data management.
• Experience with system analysis and improving IT infrastructure.
• Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
• Strong leadership abilities and team management experience.
