Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Mechanical Engineer, located in Vadodara. The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for overseeing manufacturing processes, conducting research and development (R&D) projects, and engaging in the textile industry. Daily tasks include monitoring production lines, optimizing process efficiency, and ensuring quality standards. Coordinating with teams and managing documentation related to engineering projects is also an essential part of the role. About the Role We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented IT Assistant Manager to support daily IT operations, manage user lifecycle processes, and ensure system security and compliance. This individual will work closely with our Managed Service Provider (MSP) , internal teams, and vendors to maintain operational efficiency and provide seamless IT support across hardware, software, and user management functions. Key Responsibilities MSP Coordination Act as the internal point of contact for MSP-related issues. Monitor ticket resolution, follow up with users, team leads, and MSP to ensure timely closure. Hardware Management Pre-configure new devices using Autopilot (more advanced, support available as needed). Track and manage device assignments for new hires and off-boarding. Monitor device performance and life cycle to recommend replacements. Software & Licensing Manage licenses for Microsoft 365 , Adobe , and other enterprise tools. Administer and monitor user training using KnowBe4 . Ensure Active Directory (ADP) and Entra ID alignment for user data. Assign and track security training, follow up on non-compliance with users or managers. User Lifecycle Management Collaborate with the Data Team for seamless onboarding/offboarding. Regularly compare user records across ADP , Entra ID , and Verizon . Monitor e.g., Field Routes and other systems for user status and access. Security & Compliance Daily review of Entra ID for risky users. Generate and analyses weekly sign-in reports; escalate any anomalies. Other Duties Execute additional IT tasks and projects as assigned by senior leadership. Required Skills & Experience 8–10 years in IT support or system administration. Experience working with an MSP or external IT vendor. Solid knowledge of Microsoft Intune , Autopilot , Azure Entra ID , and Active Directory . Familiarity with device compliance , license management , and user access audits . Experience with security training platforms like KnowBe4 is a plus. Excellent communication, problem-solving skills, and follow-up skills Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field. Certifications like MCSA , MD-102 , CompTIA Security+ , or Microsoft 365 Fundamentals .
