Assistant HR Manager

Role Summary:

The HR Assistant Manager will support the HR department in managing end-to-end human resource operations including recruitment, onboarding, payroll, employee relations, compliance, and performance management. The role involves close coordination with department heads to ensure a positive work culture and smooth HR functioning aligned with Farmer First’s mission and values.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Recruitment & Onboarding:

• Manage the full recruitment cycle — job posting, shortlisting, interviewing, and onboarding.
• Coordinate induction programs for new hires and ensure smooth integration into the team.

2. Payroll & Compliance:

• Assist in monthly payroll preparation and maintain attendance, leave, and salary records.
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements such as PF, ESI, Gratuity, and Labour Laws.

3. Employee Engagement & Retention:

• Plan and implement employee engagement programs, team-building activities, and welfare initiatives.
• Handle employee queries, grievances, and exit formalities with empathy and professionalism.

4. Performance Management:

• Coordinate performance appraisal cycles and maintain performance records.
• Support managers in identifying training needs and implementing development programs.

5. HR Operations & Administration:

• Maintain HRMIS and employee database.
• Support in drafting HR policies, circulars, and official communications.
• Manage vendor relationships for recruitment, training, and HR services.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in HR operations or generalist role.
• Experience in FMCG, agriculture, or sustainability sectors is an added advantage.

Skills Required:

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Good knowledge of labour laws and HR best practices.
• Proficiency in MS Office and HR management tools.
• High level of integrity, confidentiality, and empathy.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹28,000.00 per month
