Job Summary

The Assistant Housekeeping Manager supports the Executive Housekeeper in overseeing daily housekeeping operations to ensure cleanliness, orderliness, and guest satisfaction. This role assists with staff supervision, training, scheduling, inspections, and inventory control while maintaining high standards of hygiene and service.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in managing daily housekeeping operations and staff assignments
• Supervise, train, and motivate housekeeping staff to meet performance standards
• Conduct regular inspections of rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness and quality
• Support scheduling, attendance tracking, and shift coverage
• Assist in maintaining inventory of cleaning supplies, linens, and equipment
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations
• Handle guest complaints and special requests promptly and professionally
• Coordinate with front office, maintenance, and laundry departments
• Assist in preparing reports related to productivity, staffing, and supplies
• Step in for the Housekeeping Manager when required

Qualifications & Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent (hospitality certification preferred)
• 4–6 years of housekeeping experience, including supervisory exposure
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques, chemicals, and safety standards
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays
• Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Capable of performing inspections in guest rooms and public areas

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹32,000.00 per month
