Job Title: Housekeeping Manager – Wellness

Department: Housekeeping / Facilities

Job Summary

The Housekeeping – Wellness Executive is responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and ambience across wellness areas including patient rooms, therapy rooms, spa areas, common spaces, and washrooms. The role ensures a safe, calm, and healing environment in line with hospital and hospitality standards.

Key ResponsibilitiesCleaning & Hygiene

  • Ensure daily cleaning and sanitization of wellness areas, patient rooms, therapy rooms, spa rooms, washrooms, corridors, and common areas
  • Follow hospital infection control and hygiene protocols strictly
  • Use approved cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and correctly
  • Ensure proper disposal of biomedical and general waste as per guidelines

Wellness & Ambience

  • Maintain a calm, soothing, and pleasant environment in wellness and therapy areas
  • Ensure beds, linen, towels, robes, and wellness accessories are clean, fresh, and properly arranged
  • Replenish toiletries, amenities, and supplies as required

Linen & Inventory Management

  • Handle linen collection, segregation, and replacement
  • Monitor usage of housekeeping supplies and report shortages
  • Maintain cleanliness of housekeeping stores and equipment

Coordination & Support

  • Coordinate with nursing, therapy, and maintenance teams for smooth operations
  • Report any damages, maintenance issues, or safety hazards immediately
  • Respond promptly to guest/patient requests related to housekeeping

Compliance & Safety

  • Adhere to hospital safety, hygiene, and confidentiality policies
  • Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and emergency protocols
  • Maintain personal grooming and uniform standards at all times

Skills & Competencies

  • Knowledge of housekeeping practices in hospitals or wellness hospitality
  • Understanding of hygiene, sanitation, and infection control
  • Attention to detail and cleanliness
  • Polite, calm, and service-oriented attitude
  • Ability to work in shifts and under supervision

Qualifications

  • Minimum education: Graduation(preferred)
  • Experience: 1–3 years in housekeeping (hospital, wellness centre, or hotel preferred)
  • Training in hospital housekeeping or wellness hospitality is an added advantage

Working Conditions

  • Shift-based duty
  • Exposure to cleaning chemicals (with safety measures)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹60,000.00 per month
