Position Overview

Mango Tree Resorts, Garhmukteshwar is looking for a dedicated and highly experienced Assistant Housekeeping Manager to lead our housekeeping operations with precision, passion, and a strong eye for detail. This role is ideal for a seasoned housekeeping professional who has a proven track record in resort or hotel environments and understands the importance of delivering exceptional guest experiences through impeccable cleanliness and comfort.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day operations of the housekeeping department, including guest rooms, public areas, laundry, and back-of-house spaces.
• Supervise and train a team of housekeeping supervisors, room attendants, and support staff to uphold high standards.
• Conduct regular quality inspections of rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and maintenance standards are met.
• Create and manage staffing schedules in alignment with resort occupancy and event demands.
• Ensure timely room readiness in coordination with the front office and maintenance departments.
• Monitor and manage inventory of cleaning supplies, linens, and guest amenities.
• Implement health and safety protocols, and ensure compliance with sanitation and hygiene standards.
• Handle guest requests, special housekeeping needs, and complaints professionally and promptly.
• Maintain housekeeping records including room status reports, staff attendance, lost & found, and maintenance requests.
• Support sustainable practices and eco-friendly housekeeping initiatives wherever possible.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of experience in housekeeping within hotels or resorts, with at least 3 years in a managerial or supervisory capacity.
• Strong knowledge of housekeeping operations, chemicals, cleaning equipment, and linen management.
• Proven leadership and team management skills.
• Ability to train, motivate, and develop a team for consistent performance.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and guest satisfaction.
• Familiarity with basic computer applications and housekeeping software.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Hospitality or Hotel Management.
• Previous experience working in a resort or leisure destination is highly desirable.
• Working knowledge of sustainability practices in housekeeping is a plus.
• Proficiency in Hindi and basic English communication.
