Job Description

The AGM will support the GM / leadership in managing end‑to‑end operations of VPLAK.com to ensure high customer satisfaction, maintain quality and reliability, smooth supply chain, and help scale business sustainably. The AGM bridges strategic goals with execution across departments (warehouse, delivery, customer service, product procurement, etc.).

Key Responsibilities

Here are the main duties an AGM at VPLAK.com would typically be expected to handle:

  • Operational Leadership & Execution
  • Oversee daily operations: warehousing, inventory, order fulfillment, logistics, returns & replacements.
  • Ensure SOPs are followed in warehousing, packaging, quality checks.
  • Monitor and improve turnaround time for orders, shipping, delivery.
  • Supply Chain & Procurement
  • Work with procurement to ensure a steady supply of genuine / authorised brand‑products. vplakIN+1
  • Coordinate with brands & suppliers, negotiate terms, manage inventory levels to avoid stockouts or overstock.
  • Oversee relationships with courier / logistic partners to ensure reliable delivery service.
  • Customer Service Excellence
  • Ensure customer care operations maintain high service levels: low response times, minimal escalations.
  • Oversee policies for returns, refunds, replacements – ensure they are customer friendly but also protect company from abuse.
  • Team Management & Leadership
  • Manage department heads / supervisors under operations, warehousing, customer support.
  • Recruit / train / evaluate performance of staff; foster teamwork & continuous improvement.
  • Set KPIs for operations and track them (delivery times, order accuracy, customer complaints, etc.).
  • Quality & Compliance
  • Maintain quality standards for products, packaging, shipping.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, brand authorisations.
  • Ensure company policies related to payments, data privacy, purchase protection are adhered to.
  • Strategic Planning & Performance Improvement
  • Support GM in planning for growth: scale operations, improve systems, introduce efficiencies.
  • Analyse operational metrics & financials (cost of logistics, inventory carrying, returns costs, etc.) to identify areas to reduce cost and increase margin.
  • Lead projects for process improvements, technology adoption (e.g., warehouse management systems, order tracking, etc.).
  • Reporting & Coordination
  • Generate regular operational reports (weekly / monthly) for senior management: delivery metrics, inventory, customer satisfaction, cost vs budget.
  • Coordinate cross‑functional activities: marketing (promotions), finance (payments, cost forecasting), IT (platform, website issues).
  • Backup for General Manager
  • In GM’s absence, take charge of overall operations & decision‑making to keep business functioning smoothly.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
