Job Description

The Assistant Food & Beverage Manager plays a key role in supporting the Food & Beverage Manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations of all hotel F&B outlets—including restaurants, bars, banquet halls, room service etc. The position is responsible for ensuring seamless service, high guest satisfaction, staff performance, and operational efficiency in line with the hotel's brand standards and policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise daily operations across all F&B outlets within the hotel.
  • Ensure smooth coordination between the kitchen, service teams, and other departments.
  • Monitor dining areas to ensure cleanliness, ambiance, and service readiness.
  • Assist in planning and executing events, banquets, and in-room dining services.
  • Ensure high levels of guest satisfaction by maintaining excellent service standards.
  • Personally engage with guests to receive feedback and resolve any service issues.
  • Anticipate guest needs and tailor services accordingly.
  • Support in hiring, onboarding, and training new staff members.
  • Conduct daily briefings and provide ongoing coaching and motivation to the team.
  • Monitor employee performance and provide feedback in coordination with the F&B Manager.
  • Ensure grooming and service standards are upheld at all times.
  • Assist in monitoring stock levels of food, beverages, and consumables.
  • Participate in inventory checks and ensure accurate stock records.
  • Help manage suppliers, order placements, and delivery schedules.
  • Assist with preparing budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
  • Monitor daily sales and help analyze performance metrics.
  • Ensure compliance with hotel policies, health and safety regulations, and licensing laws.
  • Handle staff scheduling and ensure adequate coverage during peak times. Requirements:
  • Degree or diploma in Hotel Management, Hospitality, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of F&B experience in a hotel environment, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory role etc.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
