As an Assistant Director, FC DE Future Design at HSBC, you will play a crucial role in the consolidation of process optimization activities across global Financial Crime. Your responsibilities will include: - Assisting in the consolidation of process optimization activity across global Financial Crime, developing a backlog of opportunities that can be prioritized and allocated for delivery. - Collaborating with sub-value streams and the Future Design Team to deliver tangible benefits to Financial Crime. - Working with the wider Value stream, sub-value stream to align to design principles and adhere to optimization practices. - Ensuring process changes and improvements are agreed with relevant stakeholders and are documented appropriately. To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications: - Proven ability to successfully manage process improvement projects, with a strong background working in roles requiring continuous improvement capability. - Knowledge and experience of process mapping, process design, and process reengineering using a variety of tools and techniques; utilizing Lean, Six Sigma, Design Thinking, Agile. - Familiarity with the DMAIC framework and ability to apply a range of techniques across the framework. - Proven track record of working as part of a team, able to collaborate to accomplish common goals in an agile environment. - Strong analytical, organizational, and delivery skills, resourceful, creative, and adept at solving complex issues. - Excellent communication and inter-personal skills, including the ability to create and present concise and informative presentations. - Project management experience. Lean / Lean Six Sigma experience and certification e.g., Green Belt. - Excellent influencing and change management skills, including negotiation. - Critical thinking, being inquisitive, and ability to use initiative without guidance.
