Assistant Accounts Manager

Job Description

Financial Reporting & Analysis: Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Support financial analysis and forecasting activities. Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies. Accounts Management: Monitor accounts payable and receivable. Manage general ledger entries and ensure proper documentation. Assist in processing payroll and employee reimbursements. Budgeting & Planning: Support in budget preparation and cost control initiatives. Track expenditures and compare with budget allocations. Compliance & Audit: Ensure adherence to accounting standards and company policies. Assist with internal and external audits. Maintain proper filing of financial documents for regulatory compliance. Team Support: Supervise and mentor junior accountants or clerks. Coordinate with other departments for smooth financial operations. Help implement and improve accounting systems and procedures. Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (MBA or CPA is a plus). 3–5 years of experience in accounting or finance roles. Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Tally, or similar). Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with financial reporting tools. Key Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
