Job Description

Guest Services: Welcoming guests: Creating a positive first impression and providing a warm greeting. Check-in and Check-out: Assisting guests with registering, assigning rooms, verifying reservations, collecting payments, and issuing keys. Handling Guest Inquiries: Answering questions about hotel services, amenities, and local attractions. Managing Reservations: Taking and modifying reservations, both over the phone and online. Providing Assistance: Offering assistance with luggage, making recommendations, and booking taxis or restaurants. Administrative Tasks: Answering Phones: Handling calls, taking messages, and directing calls to the appropriate person. Filing and Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate records of guest reservations, payments, and other relevant information. General Administrative Support: Performing various administrative tasks, such as photocopying, scanning, and data entry. Other Responsibilities: Responding to Complaints: Handling guest complaints professionally and efficiently. Upselling Services: Providing information and suggesting additional hotel services, such as spa treatments or excursions. Liaising with Other Departments: Communicating with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure smooth operations. Maintaining a Clean Reception Area: Ensuring the front desk and surrounding area are neat and welcoming.
