Job Description

You’ll be our: Ather Stack Quality Lead - Software
You’ll be based at: IBC, BangaloreYou’ll be Aligned with: Head - AtherStack QualityYou’ll be A member of: AtherStack QualityWhat you’ll do at Ather:

Lead end-to-end design reviews for new software features and algorithms, ensuring quality considerations are integrated from the outset.
Guide and mentor teams in conducting thorough root cause analysis of software development and production issues.
Conduct periodic reviews of bug resolution progress for software issues and escalate as needed to ensure timely closure.
Drive the adoption of robust code review processes for software and ensure thorough impact analysis across development teams.
Innovate and implement processes that significantly improve overall software quality and development efficiency.
Define and establish unified quality metrics to provide clear visibility into software performance and reliability.
Ensure adherence to agreed safety standards within the software code architecture across all platform components.
Drive data-driven decision-making in day-to-day software development based on quality metrics and risk assessments.
Provide final quality sign-off on software releases and changes based on comprehensive risk evaluation.
Define, champion, and ensure the consistent adoption of best-in-class software quality practices and standards within the team and across collaborating development teams. You will drive the continuous improvement of these software quality practices.

Here’s what we are looking for:

“Systems thinking” where multiple factors are considered in making decisions and ability to challenge design decisions
Software Quality Assurance experience would be beneficial
Understanding of 8D problem solving methodology and Advanced Product Quality Planning
Familiar with an agile work environment, along with tools such as JIRA, Confluence
Clear communication through dashboards and reports

What You bring to Ather:

BE/B.Tech/ME/M.Tech degree in Computer Science/IT
7-9 years experience in software development/quality/testing
