ASQ Lead- Software

As an Ather Stack Quality Lead - Software at Ather based in IBC, Bangalore, you will be aligned with the Head of AtherStack Quality and work as a member of the AtherStack Quality team. Role Overview: - Lead end-to-end design reviews for new software features and algorithms, ensuring quality considerations are integrated from the outset. - Guide and mentor teams in conducting thorough root cause analysis of software development and production issues. - Conduct periodic reviews of bug resolution progress for software issues and escalate as needed to ensure timely closure. - Drive the adoption of robust code review processes for software and ensure thorough impact analysis across development teams. - Innovate and implement processes that significantly improve overall software quality and development efficiency. - Define and establish unified quality metrics to provide clear visibility into software performance and reliability. - Ensure adherence to agreed safety standards within the software code architecture across all platform components. - Drive data-driven decision-making in day-to-day software development based on quality metrics and risk assessments. - Provide final quality sign-off on software releases and changes based on comprehensive risk evaluation. - Define, champion, and ensure the consistent adoption of best-in-class software quality practices and standards within the team and across collaborating development teams. You will drive the continuous improvement of these software quality practices. Key Responsibilities: - Systems thinking where multiple factors are considered in making decisions and ability to challenge design decisions - Software Quality Assurance experience would be beneficial - Understanding of 8D problem-solving methodology and Advanced Product Quality Planning - Familiarity with an agile work environment, along with tools such as JIRA, Confluence - Clear communication through dashboards and reports Qualifications Required: - BE/B.Tech/ME/M.Tech degree in Computer Science/IT - 7-9 years of experience in software development/quality/testing Please note that there are no additional details of the company provided in the job description.,
