Area Sales Manager

Job Summary

Bakersville is hiring an experienced Area Sales Manager (ASM) to handle sales operations across Indore and nearby MP regions. The ASM will manage distributors, lead the sales team, increase market penetration, and drive overall revenue growth for bakery & confectionery products.

Roles & ResponsibilitiesSales & Market Development

• Drive sales growth for bakery products across Indore and MP region.
• Identify and appoint new distributors to expand channel network.
• Increase product reach in bakeries, HORECA, cafés, restaurants, sweet shops, retailers, and wholesalers.
• Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.

Team Leadership & Field Operations

• Lead, guide, and support Area Sales Officers / Executives.
• Conduct market visits, product demos, and customer meetings.
• Monitor team performance, daily reporting, and route planning.

Distributor & Channel Management

• Maintain optimal stock levels at distributor points.
• Track primary and secondary sales and ensure smooth supply flow.
• Resolve issues related to stock, claims, orders, and billing.

Reporting & Analysis

• Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer insights.
• Prepare daily/weekly/monthly MIS and sales performance reports.
• Share feedback with management for continuous improvement.

Marketing & Promotional Activities

• Execute sampling, brand visibility, and promotional campaigns.
• Participate in exhibitions, events, and territory-based activations.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 3–6 years of experience in FMCG / Bakery / Food ingredients sales.
• Strong distributor handling & team management skills.
• Excellent communication, negotiation & problem-solving ability.
• Good knowledge of sales planning, forecasting & territory management.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and daily reporting.
• Willingness to travel extensively in the assigned region.
• Graduation mandatory; MBA preferred.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
