Area Sales Manager

Job Summary

Bakersville is seeking an experienced and dynamic Area Sales Manager (ASM) to lead sales operations across the Lucknow region. The role involves managing distributors, guiding the sales team, expanding the bakery/food service market, and driving revenue growth.

Roles & Responsibilities

Sales Management & Growth

• Manage and grow sales for bakery products in the Lucknow territory.
• Identify and appoint new distributors / channel partners to expand market reach.
• Increase product penetration in bakeries, hotels, cafes, restaurants, sweet shops, and dealers.
• Ensure monthly, quarterly, and annual sales target achievement.

Team & Market Operations

• Lead, motivate, and guide Area Sales Officers / Sales Executives.
• Conduct joint field visits, product demos, and customer meetings.
• Monitor daily working, route plans, and market coverage.

Distributor Management

• Ensure proper stock levels at distributor points.
• Manage secondary & primary sales planning.
• Resolve distributor issues related to supply, returns, claims, or orders.

Reporting & Analysis

• Track sales numbers, competition activities, and market trends.
• Prepare sales MIS, territory performance reports, and forecasting.
• Provide feedback to management about customer needs, market gaps, and opportunities.

Promotional Activities

• Execute sampling, brand visibility, and promotional campaigns.
• Participate in exhibitions, events, and product-launch activities.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 3–6 years of sales experience in FMCG / Bakery / Food processing industry.
• Strong distributor handling and team management skills.
• Excellent communication, negotiation & leadership abilities.
• Good understanding of market dynamics and business strategy.
• Proficiency in MS Excel & daily reporting.
• Must be comfortable with extensive field travel.
• Graduation mandatory; MBA in Marketing preferred.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
