Area Sales Manager

You are a results-driven Area Sales Manager responsible for overseeing sales operations within a specific geographical area in the textile sector. Your main responsibilities include: - Developing and implementing sales strategies to achieve area sales targets. - Managing and expanding distributor and dealer networks within the assigned territory. - Monitoring market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback. - Conducting regular market visits to support channel partners and ensure brand visibility. - Ensuring timely collections and managing credit as per company policy. - Training and motivating channel sales staff to promote a high-performance culture. - Providing accurate sales forecasts and performance reports to senior management. - Coordinating with marketing, supply chain, and production teams for seamless execution. - Attending trade shows, exhibitions, and promotional events as required. Key Skills & Competencies: - Strong knowledge of textile products and sales channels. - Proven track record in achieving sales targets. - Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. - Proficient in CRM tools and MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint). - Strong analytical and problem-solving ability. - Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory. Qualifications: - Bachelors degree - MBA/PGDM is a plus. Preferred Background: - Experience in textiles Industry - Familiarity with B2B or institutional sales, depending on product segment. In addition to the above details, the job type is full-time with benefits including health insurance and provident fund. The work schedule is day shift with performance bonus and yearly bonus incentives. A minimum of 4 years of experience in the textile/apparel industry is required for this position.
