Area Sales Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Area Sales Manager to oversee and expand our

sales operations within a designated geographic region. The ideal candidate will lead a team of

sales representatives, develop strategic sales plans, and build strong client relationships to drive

revenue growth and market share.

Key Responsibilities

● Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve area sales targets.

● Lead, mentor, and manage the area sales team to meet and exceed performance goals.

● Identify new market opportunities and manage key customer relationships.

● Monitor sales metrics and analyze performance data to guide decision-making.

● Collaborate with the marketing and product teams to align campaigns with area objectives.

● Prepare regular sales forecasts and reports for senior management.

● Ensure adherence to company policies, standards, and sales processes.

● Travel within the region as required to support team members and meet clients.

Requirements

● Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).

● Strong understanding of area market dynamics and customer behavior.

● Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.

● Ability to work independently and make data-driven decisions.

Preferred Skills

● Fluency in area languages is a plus

● MS Office - Excel preferred

● Strong networking and business development capabilities.

● Onboarding of new customers,

● Merchandising in store and stock not always available, pushing for raise PO / Visit retail store

MT GT – manage merchandising & upsell

● Monitoring product demand in market, competition & slow moving item / Coordination with

internal department

● ERP knowing is advantage

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Ahmadabad, Gujarat: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Experience:

• Field sales: 3 years (Preferred)

Willingness to travel:

• 50% (Preferred)
