Job Purpose

The Area Sales Executive will be responsible for driving sales and business development of OT (Operation Theatre) Lights and OT Tables in the assigned region. The role involves meeting doctors, hospital administrators, purchase managers, and distributors to generate leads, close sales, and ensure customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, approach, and develop new business opportunities in hospitals, nursing homes, and healthcare institutions.
  • Promote and sell OT Lights & Tables by giving product presentations and demonstrations.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with surgeons, hospital staff, biomedical engineers, and purchase departments.
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets as assigned.
  • Maintain a strong pipeline of prospects and update reports regularly.
  • Coordinate with the service and installation team to ensure smooth delivery and after-sales support.
  • Monitor competitor activities and provide market feedback to management.
  • Participate in exhibitions, conferences, and marketing events to promote the company’s products.
  • Ensure timely collection of payments from clients.
  • Prepare and submit daily/weekly sales reports to management.

  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently.
  • Basic computer proficiency (MS Office, CRM tools, etc.).

Qualifications & Experience

  • Graduate (preferably in Science, Engineering, or Business).
  • 2–5 years of sales experience in medical equipment, preferably OT products or hospital devices.
  • Experience in handling hospital tenders and institutional/ private sales will be an added advantage.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
