Area Manager

1. Branch Supervision

• Monitor daily operations of branches under your area.
• Ensure branches follow all operational procedures and society guidelines.
• Conduct regular branch visits and check staff discipline and performance.

2. Business Development

• Support branches to achieve targets in deposits, loans, recovery, and new customer acquisition.
• Assist in planning customer outreach programs and local marketing activities.
• Identify new business opportunities in the area.

3. Loan & Recovery Management

• Ensure proper loan processing, documentation, and verification.
• Follow up on overdue accounts and support staff in recovery activities.
• Monitor performance of gold loans, vehicle loans, and other loan products.

4. Staff Support & Training

• Guide and support branch staff in day-to-day operations.
• Identify training needs and help staff improve performance.

5. Compliance & Reporting

• Ensure all branches maintain proper registers, records, and customer documentation.
• Prepare and submit weekly/monthly area performance reports to management.
• Ensure branches follow statutory and internal audit requirements.

6. Customer Service Monitoring

• Ensure branches maintain a customer-friendly environment.
• Address customer issues that are escalated from branch level and help resolve them quickly.

Skills & Requirements

• Minimum 6 months experience in a relevant role (co-operative/banking/finance preferred).
• Good communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to travel regularly within assigned areas.
• Basic computer knowledge (MS Office, accounting software).

Preferred Qualifications

• Graduation in any discipline.
• Candidates with field experience and local area knowledge preferred.
